Zen restaurants were the first to show us that Oriental cooking could be served stylishly in minimalist, peaceful surroundings. This Hampstead village branch is thriving as a lively neighbourhood eaterie. The menu is a far cry from the familiar Chinese offerings, with healthfully prepared spicy salads, steamed fish, and lightning-seared meats with spicings drawn from all over Asia. We love the Chef's Suggestion menus, especially the wrapping
platters and the lemon grass chicken. Vegetarians will be very happy here.
