A London Guide / London Restaurants / Modern European Restaurants / Toast

Toast

50 Hampstead High Street
Hampstead
London
NW3 1QG

In just one year, Toast has proven itself as a popular, stylish urban dining and drinking spot in leafy Hampstead village. The modern trans-European food, under the direction of Mark Blatchford, ex-Mosimann's, is confident and flavourful. Menu changes fortnightly -- go for the confit of duck spring roll if it's on. The opposite of City eateries, Toast is relaxed and informal at lunchtimes, but revs up in the evenings. The bar is lively -- a great place for spotting some of Hampstead's glitterati.

Average Price: £25 to £34

Cuisine: Modern European
