The Gondoliers, named after one of Gilbert & Sullivan's comic masterpieces, is a room of luxury and opulent decor. The panelling is decorated with maps and painted murals, and all is made brilliant with chandeliers and sconces. If you are seeking a venue for dressy special occasions, special celebrations, or serious presentations, The Gondoliers is a spectacular choice. It is of medium size, accommodating up to 24 seated or 50 standing. As part of the Savoy, The Gondoliers is backed by more than a century of experience in hospitality and the Savoy's own team use all their expertise to ensure that your event is perfect in every detail. Acclaimed chef Georg Fuchs as Maitre Chef des Cuisines is the deviser of magnificent menus. Dishes may include starter of warm salad of lemon sole fillet with a tomato and tarragon dip, main course of fillet of lamb in a puff pastry crust with roast potatoes and spinach puree glazed with cheese, followed by pudding of red wine poached pear gratinated with burnt orange ice cream, the Savoy's own blend of coffee and perfect petit fours.
