The Globe overlooks the City from the top of the swanky, top-class Hotel Saint Gregory. Shoreditch locals, City traders, and hotel guests alike love to celebrate being above it all with their favourite dish from Kenny Roberson's European menu, and a good bottle of wine. While we'll leave the choice of liquid refreshment to you, we would like to recommend the trout fillets stuffed with crabmeat in Chinese leaves, served in a light Pernod sauce. It's gorgeous. And almost as attractive as the adjoining Globe Bar, where you'll find a must-try cocktail list and a roof terrace where you can make the most of the impressive views.
