The Ebury
11 Pimlico Road
Chelsea
London
SW1W 8NA
Dominating a large corner site at the junction of Pimlico Road and Ranelagh Grove near sloaney Sloane Square, The Ebury looks permanently inviting. Just as well it has huge 60s style windows through which you can have a gaze enviously at the charmed individuals inside. And then get yourself inside, order a chocolate caipirinha at the impressive walnut bar then stretch out on chocolate brown leather banquette. Should hunger strike, a seafood bar integrated into the bar offers a selection of oysters, Cornish crab, fresh prawns and Scottish lobster. Drool. Tucked behind the bar is a cosy lounge area with walnut floors and a beautiful fireplace. From here you can admire risqué photographs by Justin Chan and Swiss artist Sylvie Fleurie's 'Flames' which cover the rear wall. A broad reaching wine list includes classic French and New World wines with a focus on Bordeaux in the dining room. The Ebury is super-smart so feel free to dress-up to look that wee bit more affluent.
