Michelin-starred Indian restaurant Tamarind is always superb. The chic, gold-accented dining room is elegant, yet comfortable and has a welcoming atmosphere. The food is simply stunning. Chef Alfred Prasad is renowned for his originality and his sumptuous seasonal menus puts a fabulous, modern spin on traditional Southern and North-West Indian cuisine: spicy seafood dishes, curries, kebabs, youÂll be spoiled for choice! Highlights are juicy Tiger prawns tossed with onions, tomatoes, green chillies and ground spices; tender lamb cutlets marinated with sweet, raw paw-paw, garlic, paprika and star anise; and cubes of lamb leg delightfully complemented with spices, ginger, yoghurt and Kashmiri chillies. The Naan bread is divine. Staff are warm and professional and are happy to advise on the dishes, as is knowledgeable Sommelier Illario Terranova. A must if you love Indian food, and a must if you donÂt  youÂll be converted!
