This small, smart, elegant restaurant is also a wine bar, cafeteria and takeaway as well as a fun place to find live music and belly dancing, so that would tick most of the boxes! The cuisine is Persian, with a special place in its heart for the lovely strawberry, and includes familiar middle-eastern dishes like starter of houmous and tzatziki but there are more unexpected delights as well. Try main course of Strawberry mix grill or crispy duck with creamed mushroom sauce, and pud of strawberry devil. A very good choice of veggie dishes is on offer.
