St Pauls Cathedral
Built after the Great Fire of London St Pauls Cathedral is perhaps one of Sir Christopher Wren's finest buildings, completed in 1710 it took 40 years to complete. Wren's masterpiece is the soaring dome, which offers outstanding panoramic views across London. St Pauls Cathedral is where special events are held such as Royal weddings, state funerals, memorial services and national services of thanksgiving. The cathedral also houses a large collection of treasures including monuments and burial sites.
