St Martin in the Fields
St Martin in the Fields is situated just off of Trafalgar Square, completed in 1726 it was one of the most influential churches ever built, much copied in the United States it became a model for the Colonial style of church-building. Below in the crypt can be found one of the most magical cafes in London, this is a quiet haven away from the crowds of Trafalgar Square. The London Brass Rubbing Centre is also based in the crypt adjacent to the cafe where you can discover the simple craft of brass rubbing.
