Housed in the impressive Edwardian building, designed by R F Atkinson and Daniel Burnham, Selfridges is located in the heart of London. It is home to six fantastic floors of products, with everything from Gucci bags to household gadgets and bed linen, and the largest perfumery in Europe. It also boasts the best food hall in London, British food may be much maligned but there are many specialities that are well worth sampling, such as teas, cheeses, chocolates, biscuits and preserves.
