Memories - The Langham Hotel

Regent Street
London

LondonÂs original grand hotel, the Langham Hotel is a paragon of splendour. It houses several restaurants, of which the most luxurious is arguably Memories. Above ceiling fans whirr beneath a hand-painted ceiling, while outside wonderful views across Regent Street and All Souls Church beckon the eye. Calling the taste buds is a European menu with a continental twist created by the gifted David Collard, formerly of Fleur and Petrus. Like the food, the menuÂs design is simple and honest - each dish is listed by the name of the main ingredient. For example, a ravioli starter of Cornish crab and salmon with ginger and coriander is called Ravioli. While a Devonshire best end with garlic flan, lamb sweetbread, butter beans and thyme jus is marked Lamb.
