No doubt about it, the Mango Tree is a glittering diamond in the crown of Thai cuisine. The interior is a no-expense-spared Westified take on luxurious Eastern décor - elegant, dramatic and fully feng-shuied. The service is excellent, and the fresh, beautifully presented food even more so! The pad thai is a must, of course, as it's the national dish, but also because it is topped with a huge king prawn caught in an omelette net. In fact, simply on grounds of flavour it would be a shame to miss out anything on the menu. But as that's a tad unrealistic, we highly recommend the meung cum - betel nut leaves served with peanut, lime, ginger, chilli, toasted and dried shrimp, followed by banana and sweet black bean in coconut sticky rice with ice cream. Mango Tree - a genuine gem; cherish it.
