Madame Tussaud (1761-1850) perfected her craft during the French Revolution by taking death masks of guillotine victims, including Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette. Today Madame Tussaud's holds a large collection of more than 400 figures, including pop, film, and sports stars, politicians, royalty and murderers. Which are peered at and photographed with, over 2.5 million visitors a year. It also has a 'Spirit of London' ride that takes you through the sights and sounds of London's past.
