A London Guide / London Restaurants / French Restaurants / Les Caves de Gabrielles

Les Caves de Gabrielles

14 Heddon Street

London
W1B 4DA

If the name rings a bell, it's probably because you know Gabrielle's, the characterful and compact French restaurant of which Les Caves is the basement bar. Cosy, stylish and comfy, this is a nice venue for pre or post dinner drinks, particularly if you like cocktails by candlelight. The food, bien entendu, is French and fine. With a bar on one side, and a patchwork leather banquette on the other, Les Caves seats 25, but would easily accommodate 40 if you wanted to hire it. Groups of six or so might like to book the small private seating area, beneath the curved stairs, facing the side of the bar. From September a DJ will play Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Average Price: Under £24

Cuisine: French

Underground: Piccadilly Circus
