A London Guide / London Restaurants / Thai Restaurants / Jim Thompson's (Putney)

Jim Thompson's (Putney)

408 Upper Richmond Road
Putney
London
SW15 6JP

Very large and airy converted Putney pub has been transformed into an Oriental palace. Lots of eastern promise - red walls decked with lamps, masks and statues - from India, Thailand and beyond and all for sale will make you feel that you have stepped into a Bangkok bazaar. Very lively pub style atmosphere. Large garden great for the summer. What's cooking? Indonesian potato cakes, Bankok's famous green chicken curry, Pad Thai Goong - noodles. Sophisticated kids could try something from the Junior Jim's Menu - Malaysian chicken satay could make a change from the ubiquitous chicken nuggets.

Average Price: £25 to £34

Cuisine: Thai

Underground: Barnes Railway / East Putney
