Harvey Nichols
With its origins back in 1813 when Benjamin Harvey opened a lowly linen shop in a terraced house on the corner of Knightsbridge and Sloane Street. Harvey Nichols has gone on to become one of London's best known department stores. It is best known for its designer clothes, prices are high though, but if you visit during the sales there are usually some fantastic bargains to be had. On the fifth-floor you will find a large food hall as well as a bar and restaurant that were recently refurbishmenti in 1991.
