Eltham Palace
The site that Eltham Palace stands on was first built on by Edward IV in 1470. His Great Hall was used by monarchs up to and including Henry VIII. After which time the site and the Great Hall fell into disrepair until millionaire's Stephen and Virginia Courtauld took it over and turned the Great Hall into an Art Deco home within a medieval building. The result is a masterpiece of Art Deco design which dramatically shows the glamour and allure of 1930s style. English Heritage has recently restored this.
