Devotees of Diverso just can't understand why more people don't know about it. The decor, by top designer Emily Todhunter, is lovely, with Italian antiques in a comfortable, rather rustic, setting. The staff are outgoing in the warmth of their welcome. The Italian menu is beautifully prepared, from antipasti to dolci and the wine list is enticing. Favourites include pappardelle with wild duck and porcini sauce and fagottino , which are veg-stuffed pasta parcels with tomato sauce. But once you experience it, you'll probably become a devotee of Diverso too.
