Decor is in rich reds and greens and olde English oils painting - perfect for romantic dinners a deux as well as being superb for discreet business meetings. Their Sunday lunch is still a firm favourite, where you can enjoy succulent Rib of Beef from the carving trolley or a delight full trio of crème Brulée. Friendly staff and a relaxed yet formal atmosphere. What's cooking? Modern British fare such as calves livers and bacon with caramelised shallots and mash potatoes or Citrus and peppered monkfish and squid with an oriental salad. Some real old time tempters for dessert such as sticky toffee pudding, honeycomb ice cream, butterscotch cheese cake....all made by their very own pastry chef,mmmmm.
