Browns - Butlers Wharf
10 Trade Wharf
Shad Thames
London
SE1 2YG
Overlooking historic Tower Bridge and adjacent to the Design Museum, Browns Butlers Wharf has uninterrupted riverside views. How lovely. Historically Butlers Wharf was at the heart of the English tea trade; today it is a fashionable area brimming with smart bars and restaurants. Browns is a classic English brasserie serving a menu that evolves rather than changes. Its success lies in its versatility and value for money. There are two menus; main and express lunch/pre-theatre served between noon and 6.30pm, and just £10 for two courses. The full wine, cocktail and champagne list is equally sensibly priced. In other words, you get to enjoy year-round al fresco dining in one of LondonÂs top riverside spots for a decent price.
