Bond Street

Bond Street is named after Sir Thomas Bond a major businessman in the area in the 17th Century. It consists of New Bond Street in the north and Old Bond Street in the south, but even the 'new' end dates from the 18th century. Bond Street is known for its exclusive shops that include names like Fahri, Channel, Prada and Versace, it is also where you will find Sotheby's world famous auction house. So if you are after high fashion or just some glamorous window-shopping then Bond Street is the place to go.
