A London Guide / About Us

About Us

Below is a description of how A London Guide was set up, and a few words about the organisations that made it possible.

The Prince's Trust Business Programme offers low interest loans, grants and business mentors to support unemployed 18-30 year olds in starting their own businesses. You need to have a good business idea and must have been refused funding by the traditional sources. They have helped launch over 50,000 businesses since 1983.

Working Links are an organisation designed to get the long-term unemployed back to work, and help them stay there. Over the last year, they have helped over 7,000 long-term unemployed people find permanent work across the UK. And an impressive 85% of them were still in work after three months. No other 'back to work' initiative has been so successful.
